Job Overview:

Join a busy Graphics Department for a major disposable medical supply and durable medical supply company in Rockland County, NY. This is a wonderful opportunity for recent graduate or someone with 2 years of experience. You will be exposed to numerous projects and departments. Preferred candidate has some experience with packaging design. The ideal candidate will be a result-focused self-starter, with a strong ability to multi-task with efficiency.

NOT REMOTE! MUST BE LOCAL - NO RELOCATION

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working with vector files
• Reviewing and revising submitted artwork for accuracy
• Creating error-free, press-ready files
• Organizing, maintaining and archiving production files
• Contributing to design and artwork for multiple product catalogs (must have experience with large document construction, index markers, cross-referencing, TOC)
• Working directly with product and marketing teams to answer any artwork related questions
• Any product photography experience would be helpful (retouching, color correction, silhouetting)

Qualifications:
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage time
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry software
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign
• Ability to meet production schedules, deadlines, efficiency and quality standards
• Understanding of contemporary graphic design, layout, color and typography
• Critical thinker, enjoys problem solving and finding solutions
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems related to file quality, color matching, missing links or fonts, and formattingts
